Y We Ride

Join the YMCA of Ithaca and Tompkins County and the Cortland County Family YMCA on Saturday, August 1st, for a summer bike tour supporting membership and program scholarships! This "century ride" will take riders 100 miles across the area, starting and ending at Tompkins Community College. Help us unite our communities by riding, volunteering, or sponsoring this community fundraiser.

The ride will be supported by rest stops complete with snacks, water, restrooms, a SAG crew both in vehicle and bike support, cue sheets which can be synced up with RideWithGPS, and an end-of-ride dinner celebration back at TC3. There will be regional highlights on all three rides.

Riders are asked to pay the registration fee of $35 and fundraise a minimum of $150 for the 26-mile ride, $175 for the 50-mile ride, or $200 for the 100-mile ride, or pay the corresponding registration fee if they do not wish to fundraise on behalf of the YMCAs. Solo riders and teams are encouraged to register.

Registration includes biking support on the day of the ride, dinner, and a t-shirt (if registered before July 10th). Additional merchandise will be available to purchase after the ride.

SUPPORT

This is your opportunity to make a lasting impact for not just one, but two YMCAs!

These fundraising efforts promote Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. From providing scholarships to our summer camp and child care programs, to offset the cost of membership to our mobile food pantry that is now serving two counties, you’re helping us make a difference.

Your donation will also help us continue to bring our evidence-based, research-backed health intervention fitness programs straight into the community by delivering them in community centers, fire halls, and assisted living communities.
