Guest Access

Guest Passes

Adult members (those 18+) are encouraged to bring guests (who are also 18+) to the YMCA! An adult member may bring up to two guests (both 18+) at one time and must accompany them into the facility.

A non-member (18+) may be a guest of an adult member up to twice for free, after which they must pay an Activity Fee to use the facility.

Youth & Junior Members do not have guest privileges as a part of their memberships nor do they qualify to be brought in as an Adult Member's Guest.

Activity Fee / Guest Rates per Visit:

  • Youth (ages 0-12) $5.00
  • Junior (ages 13-17) $10.00
  • Adult (ages 18+) $12.00
  • Family (all ages) $25.00

Guests will be allowed to pay for access under the following conditions:

  • Access is permitted during all hours of operation
  • Must create a guest account (this can be done online or by completing a form in person) and should be prepared to show ID at the time of visit. If you have previously utilized the Y, you are likely already in our system.
  • Adult guests may participate in group fitness classes based on available space on a walk-in basis. Register at the Welcome Center when checking in.
  • Guests may not make advance reservations for court sports (basketball, racquetball, etc), but may utilize these areas if they are not already reserved during their visit.
  • Guests may utilize the Y's Child Watch services for a fee of $10/hr, per child. The child(ren) will not be required to pay the guest fee, but any accompanying adult will need to. The accompanying adults will also need to remain in the building while the children are in Child Watch. There is a two-hour daily limit. All other Child Watch policies apply.
  • Guests wishing to become a member on the day of their visit will have their guest fee applied as a credit towards their membership.

YMCA Nationwide Membership Policy

ALWAYS WELCOME

Nationwide Membership enables you to visit any participating YMCA in the United States through membership at your “home” YMCA (your home Y is the local Y that enrolled you as a member and collects your membership dues). We offer this because we want to help you reach your health and wellness goals wherever you live, work, or travel. This is an essential part of our mission to strengthen communities.

IN EVERY COMMUNITY

We understand that sometimes it is more convenient for members to take advantage of a Y near their workplace or when they are traveling outside the area of their home Y. With Nationwide Membership, members have the flexibility to use participating Y facilities throughout the United States at no extra charge.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Nationwide Membership is valid for active, full-facility YMCA members whose home Y participates without restriction or blackout periods.
  • Nationwide member visitors must use their home Y at least 50% of the time.
  • When visiting a Y, nationwide members will be required to show a valid YMCA membership card and photo ID as well as provide basic membership data such as name and email address.
  • Members will need to sign a universal liability waiver and privacy policy.
  • Nationwide members visiting other Ys for a period greater than 28 days must transfer membership affiliation for continued use.
  • All Ys reserve the right to restrict or revoke these privileges.
  • Registered sex offenders are prohibited from participating. The YMCA may conduct regular sex offender screenings on all members, participants, and guests. If a sex offender match occurs, the YMCA reserves the right to cancel membership, end program participation, and remove visitation access.

BEFORE YOU GO

  • Visit ymca.net before you travel to make sure the Y you intend to visit participates in Nationwide Membership. More than 2500 Y locations participate.
  • You must have an active membership to be eligible for Nationwide Membership.
  • On average, at least 50% of your visits must be to your Home YMCA (the local association that enrolled you and collects your membership dues).
  • If you have known periods of seasonal travel (when you will not be using your Home Y at least 50% of the time or will be a resident of another area for more than 28 days), you will need to place your Home Y membership on hold or cancel it, and join the Y where you will be living for that time period. Please plan ahead, as it may take several weeks to place your account on hold.
  • If you are a college student, you will need to join the YMCA where your usage is 50% or greater. Nationwide Member-
ship is based on individual usage not the family unit. Most Ys have a young adult or college membership option or you can ask about the financial assistance program.
  • Most YMCAs require a photo ID for all visitors. Please bring a photo ID with you for a seamless customer experience.
  • You will be asked to sign a waiver when visiting other YMCA locations.

We offer Nationwide Membership because we want to help you reach your health and wellness goals wherever you live, work, or travel. This is an essential part of
our cause of strengthening communities. We look forward to your visit and hope you enjoy being part of more YMCA communities.
