Family Play Center
Our room for multipurpose family fun opened in January 2023! The space, which was formerly reserved for our Stay & Play Child Watch program, features a two-level indoor play structure, alongside a variety of books, games, toys, puzzles, coloring supplies, and more. All visitors are welcome to use this space as long as they need it. Parents or guardians are required to stay in the room and supervise. Please help keep our Y clean by returning your toys and cleaning the space after you are done. The Family Play Center is closed during Stay and Play Hours.
Stay & Play will still remain an option for parents who need up to two hours of drop-in childcare for ages 3-9. Drop your child off while you get your workout at the Y, go to an appointment, or run errands off-site. Our YMCA child care staff — trained in first aid, CPR, youth development, behavioral management, and other skills — will make sure they have a fun and productive time! Note: There is a two-hour limit, and pre-registration is required. The Family Play Center WILL NOT be open during Stay and Play Hours. See the schedule below for information. Children must have socks to use the play structure.

*This room is one of the spaces that can be reserved for birthday parties, on Saturdays. Also includes time in a private party room. Visit IthacaYMCA.com/birthday-parties for details. During birthday parties, teh Family Play Center will be closed.
