We are currently offering a limited selection of in-person group fitness classes.
Classes are open for advance registration to members only for a per class fee of $3.00.
Non-members may attend group fitness classes on a walk-in basis only if space is available. The $10.00 non-member day pass includes the ability to participate in 1 group fitness class. (Effective 1/11/21)
Participants will be required to wear face masks during class (buffs, gaiters, and bandannas are not acceptable).
The Y will provide equipment for classes with the understanding that participants will sanitize items after use.

Flexibility Classes
yoga - AOA
(45 min) Yoga classes use breathing techniques to help you get into different yoga poses. Our yoga class offers various yoga styles, such as Hatha and Vinyasa. These are great options for all skill levels.
Cardio Classes
Zumba
(45 min) Burn calories by burning up the dance floor. Zumba uses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic workout.
GROUP CYCLING (SpIN)
(45 min) This class takes place on Freemotion bikes. We utilize watts, rpm, and speed information from the console to monitor our efforts. The instructor guides the class through interval, strength, and endurance rides.

Strength Classes

(45 min) Calisthenics and body weight exercises with interval training. The Y instructors offer a variety of styles of boot camps. Most are designed in a way that pushes the participants harder than they would push themselves.
building strengTh - aoa
(45 min) This class is for those just starting out on their fitness journey and active older adults. This class focuses on strength, balance, and flexibility.
Core Classes
Pilates
(45 min) Improve your core muscle strength through mat exercises while focusing on form and technique. Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength, and develops control and endurance in the entire body.
