It's that time of year again! Spring is here and so is the 21st Annual Tri for the Y. Whether this is your first triathlon or your twenty-first, you're guaranteed to have a great time.

The Tri for the Y registration is limited, so please enter early!

Event

  • Swim - 400 yards in pool
  • Bike - 15.7 miles in quiet suburbs*
  • Run - 4.7 miles, suburban rolling, scenic

*Ansi or Snell approved helmets mandatory

 

Times

  • Mandatory pre-race meeting at 6:45am
  • Race starts promptly at 7:00am

 

Entry Fees

Member Triathletes *Pre-registration $35
Non-member Triathletes *Pre-registration $45
Team *Pre-registration $60

All proceeds will benefit the YMCA youth scholarship fund. Entries must be received by April 28th.

*Please Note: No race day registrations are allowed.

 

Awards

Tri for the Y awards will be given in the following categories:

Individual Male or Female

  • Overall, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
  • 13-15 yrs
  • 16-19 yrs
  • 20 to 24 yrs
  • 25 to 29 yrs
  • 30 to 34 yrs
  • 35 to 39 yrs
  • 40 to 44 yrs
  • 45 to 49 yrs
  • 50 - 54 yrs
  • 55 to 59 yrs
  • 60 - 64 yrs
  • 65 to 69 yrs
  • 70 yrs and up

Teams (up to 3 participants)

  • Male
  • Female
  • Mixed (any gender, any age)
  • Junior (any gender, 12 & under)
  • Family

Packet Pick-Up

If at all possible, please pick-up shirts and numbers at the YMCA Saturday, May 2nd, from 12:00 noon to 7:00pm.  If this is not possible, you can pick them upon Race Day between 6:00am and 6:30am.

 

Parking

Parking is available in the Y north parking lot. Please do not park on Butler Road in front of the YMCA; overflow park in mall lot.

 

Seeding Process

You must predict your approximate swim, bike, and run times in order to be seeded in the appropriate heat in minutes.
