Creative Movement

Class Description:  An exploration in movement class for ages 18mo. - 5yrs. The children will learn basic dance movements through imagination play and simple songs. The class takes place in the Dance Studio. Parents are welcome to stay.

Dates:  Classes are based on our session calendar.  You can find session dates and sign-up dates here.

Times:   Wednesday 10:55-11:25 for ages 18mo. - 3yrs.

               Wednesday 11:40-12:10 for ages 3 - 5yrs.

Cost:  $15 for members or $35 for non-members for a 5-week session.  Scholarships are available, see front desk for details.

Mini Monet

Class Description: Mini Monet is a five week art program designed to be developmentally stimulating for children years. This class provides children with the opportunity to explore various avenues of creative expression.  Different types of media will be used each session, the classes will be

theme-based and will include a story and movement activity. This class takes place in the dance studio, children may get messy so please wear appropriate clothing or bring a smock for the child to wear. Class size limited to 10 children.

Times:   Ages 18 months - 3yrs:   Thursday 10:30 - 11:00am

              Ages 3 - 5yrs.:                  Thursday 11:15 - 11:45am

*Note to Parents:

For the younger children (18 months to 3yrs.) parents are

encourage to stay and assist their child. If your child is

comfortable with out you, you  are welcome to drop them off in the care of the YMCA  staff for the duration of the class, Parent must stay in the building.
