Why
Does YMCA Camp Adventure Have Such a Great Reputation?
The Ithaca YMCA
has conducted over 50 years of quality camping programs that build
strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. Summer is
a time for children to explore new adventures, have fun, and learn
about themselves. The philosophy and goal behind the Camp Adventure
Program is to provide a safe, fun, and rewarding summer for all
campers.
The program
utilizes well-trained and qualified counselors, the resources of
our community, the YMCA and its facilities, our natural surroundings
and parks to help each camper achieve his or her fullest potential
in terms of mental development, physical well-being, and social
growth.
This year the YMCA is pleased to offer two new fun and exciting preschool programs.
The programs have been designed to combine learning experiences with physical activities to promote healthy lifestyles.
