Golf Tournament
Help us out and have a great time with some great people! TheIthaca YMCA and Kionix Presents the Annual Kid’s to Camp Golf Outing!
 


Why play one course when you can play two? The Country Club of Ithaca and Cornell's Robert Trent Jones Golf courses are included in the plans for 2012!

 The Annual Kionix YMCA Kids to Camp Golf Outing is held every year to raise funds in support of the YMCA financial assistance program. This program helps many local children who would like to attend camp, but are unable to meet the full cost. Kionix has proven to be instrumental in the effort to provide scholarships to these young people and, once again, has generously taken the lead in sponsoring this event. This is a perfect opportunity for a corporation or individual to make a significant contribution to the outing, allowing the Y to continue to provide scholarships to the greatest number of campers possible.


In 2011, our golf outing was held at the two premier courses in Tompkins County, Cornell’s Robert Trent Jones Golf Course and the Country Club of Ithaca [CCI]. The outing followed the captain/crew scramble format, with an 11:30 am check-in, a light lunch at both club houses and a shotgun start at 1:00 pm. A silent auction will be held all day at both houses and after play was complete, we presented golf awards, served hors d’oeuvres, and conducted a silent auction at CCI to round out the day.


In 2012, we plan to follow the same format and this is your opportunity to play two of the best courses in town as well as support a 152-year tradition of providing camp experiences for children in Tompkins County. Registration forms for players and sponsors will be on the website in early May, 2012. However, you can always donate toward the golf tournament by clicking the DONATE button below.
